Want

Yashasvi Vachhani

Want is tired of villaining. Wounded she wallows in a corner. Cries because she was crossed out in a diary want want want.  Want wants to not want. Want wants to be wanted. She waits in the bushes. With wild flowers she tries to woo you. Won’t you want her? She wants you! Want whistles down the street and whispers in your ears. Want whimpers and want wails. Want stirs want. Want vies want. Want wants want. And want wants to not want. She sits in the tangle of wants. A cat with wool. Wrapped up, tangled, drowned in want.
